Dr. Hayley Walter is a native of Athens, GA. She received her MD from Mercer University in Savannah, GA. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University/Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah and her rheumatology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During residency, she was named intern and resident of the year before becoming Chief Resident from 2016-17. During her fellowship training, she did additional research focusing on the potential link between the gut microbiome and kidney inflammation in lupus patients. She is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. Dr. Walter joined CCAO in September of 2019 and is currently seeing patients in our Wheat Ridge and Northglenn offices.
